The Challenge
Colameco’s sought a complete brand overhaul to elevate its Italian heritage food products and better reflect quality, tradition, and authenticity in a saturated specialty food market.

The Goal
Redefine the brand identity — from logo to packaging and point-of-sale materials — to communicate premium positioning rooted in Italian family heritage and craftsmanship.

The Approach
Led the redesign of nine SKUs and additional products in development, integrating rich typography, golden hues, and family crest symbolism. Developed a visual language inspired by Italian regional culture — featuring vibrant produce and sunset tones — to create a timeless yet premium look that resonates with both retailers and consumers.

The Outcome
The revitalized brand delivered immediate business impact, with sales surging to record highs and increased retailer interest. Colameco’s received multiple accolades including the Chicago Advertising Federation - American Advertising Packaging Award—Silver and the Graphic Design USA Packaging Design Award, affirming its elevated market position.
