The Challenge
Companion Travel Co., led by certified FORA travel advisor Kati Vervack, needed a distinct brand identity that could convey warmth, trust, and personalized expertise in a competitive travel planning space. The goal was to position Kati as a reliable virtual companion — ready to guide travelers from staycations to grand adventures.

The Goal
Develop a joyful, travel-inspired brand system that communicates approachability and trust while highlighting the custom planning, perks, and support that set Companion Travel Co. apart.

The Approach
Designed a thoughtful visual identity inspired by the emotional experience of travel. A one-line map illustration within a capsule-shaped window symbolizes the view of endless travel possibilities. Custom ligatures within the wordmark represent the “helping hand” Kati provides every step of the way. The brand evokes a sense of cheerfulness and calm through soft color palettes, rounded typography, and travel-themed iconography, supporting both digital and print applications across web, social, and promotional materials.

The Outcome
The refreshed identity led to a 48% increase in social media followers, a 15% increase in website traffic, and a 42% increase in bookings. Enhanced consumer engagement, including consistent compliments on branding and communications, confirmed the visual and emotional resonance of the brand — positioning Companion Travel Co. as a trusted partner in travel planning.
